The Session
During a typical Reiki session, the recipient lies down fully clothed in a comfortable and relaxing environment. The practitioner places their hands on or just above various parts of the body, often corresponding to the body’s energy centers, or chakras. Sessions usually last between 60 to 90 minutes and can bring about a deep sense of relaxation, peace, and well-being and can be combined with Sound Therapy or Coaching.
